4-20 mA to stepper motor, position follows the signal, with Wi-Fi

Article number PR505x503

PR505 module in DIN rail enclosure, angled top view: buttons SW1 to SW3, LEDs, Wi-Fi hotspot and screw terminals

The PR505x503 drives a stepper motor to a position derived from a 4-20 mA signal: 4 mA is the start position, 20 mA the end position. The number of steps between start and end, the speed and the acceleration are set through the Wi-Fi hotspot. After power-up, the module finds the start position using a limit switch or the end stop, depending on the setting.
