The PR515x503 measures the temperature with a type K thermocouple, with cold-junction compensation on the module, and passes it on as 4-20 mA and as 0-10 V. A thermocouple also measures high temperatures, such as in exhaust gases, furnaces and combustion processes. Which temperature corresponds to the start and the end of the output is set on the OLED display.

Setup

  1. Connect the supply, the thermocouple and the outputs according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
  2. When connecting, observe the plus and minus of the thermocouple and use type K extension cable.
  3. On the display, choose the temperature at 4 mA and at 20 mA (and with it at 0 and 10 V) and store with SAVE.
