The PR515x504 measures the temperature with a thermocouple and passes it on as 4-20 mA. The input is galvanically isolated from the supply and the output; this is needed with a thermocouple that touches metal at the measuring point, such as a welded or grounded type. The thermocouple type (K, J, T, N, E, R, S or B) and the temperature at 4 and at 20 mA are set on the OLED display.

Setup

Connect the supply, the thermocouple and the output according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
On the display, select the thermocouple type.
Set the temperature at 4 mA and at 20 mA and store with SAVE.
