The PR515x511 measures the current with a Hall sensor: the current flows through the module, and the measurement is galvanically isolated from the electronics. No external shunt is needed. The module measures DC and AC current and is available for measuring ranges up to 5 A, 20 A or 30 A. Which current corresponds to the start and end of the 4-20 mA and 0-10 V output is set on the OLED display.

Setup

  1. Connect the supply, the current cable and the outputs according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
  2. On the display, set the current at 4 mA and at 20 mA (and with it at 0 and 10 V).
  3. Choose whether the module measures DC or AC current and store with SAVE.
