The PR515x553 reads a joystick or potentiometer with a centre position and provides a 0-10 V signal: centre gives 5 V, the extremes 0 and 10 V. Around the centre you set a dead band, so small deviations of a joystick at rest cause no movement. Centre, extremes and dead band are taught to the module on the OLED display, with the joystick in the relevant position.

Setup

  1. Connect the supply, the joystick and the output according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
  2. Put the joystick in the centre position and in both extremes and teach each position on the display.
  3. Set the dead band around the centre and store with SAVE.
