Speed or frequency monitor with relay, with OLED display
Article number PR515x603
The PR515x603 measures the frequency of a pulse signal, for example from an inductive sensor on a shaft, and switches a relay contact when the speed goes above or below a set limit. This tells you when a conveyor, pump or fan stops or slips, or a motor runs too fast. A start-up delay prevents an alarm while starting. Limit, hysteresis, delay and the number of pulses per revolution are set on the OLED display.

Setup
- Connect the supply, the pulse source and the relay contact according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
- On the display, set the number of pulses per revolution and choose monitoring on maximum or minimum.
- Set the limit, the hysteresis and the start-up delay and store with SAVE.
Application
- Signalling standstill or slip of a conveyor or screw conveyor
- Monitoring too high a speed of an engine or turbine
- Checking whether a pump or fan is actually running
PR515 series: controllers and converters with OLED display
The modules in the PR515 series have an OLED display and push buttons, so they can be set up without a computer and show the current values of inputs and outputs. They run on 12 and 24 V DC systems. Most versions can be extended on request, for example with an extra relay output, a PWM output, a bus connection (CAN bus or Modbus) or a different sensor input.
