Ideal diode, 6 A, 20 mV voltage drop
Article number PR802
The PR802 places an ideal diode between input and output. An ordinary diode has a voltage drop of about 0.7 V and often needs cooling; with this module the drop is 20 mV, even at 6 A, with a heat loss of 120 mW. This adds reverse polarity protection without noticeable voltage or heat loss.
