Article number PR172s01
The PR172s01 dims lighting, including LED lamps, with a true linear regulator instead of pulse-width modulation (PWM). It is controlled with a two-wire potentiometer between terminals 5 and 6, so the lighting dims steplessly. The lamp is connected to terminal 3 (plus) and terminal 4 (minus); the output delivers up to 4 A at 24 V DC.

The PR172 modules regulate linearly, without PWM and without a switching regulator. They therefore cause no electromagnetic interference, which makes them suitable for environments with strict electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. A linear regulator gets warm under heavy load: install the module in a well-ventilated space. Supply 24 V DC (±20 %); dimensions 115 x 120 x 68 mm.
