The PR505x500 converts a 0-10 V signal into a controlled current of 0 to 150 mA. Because the module controls the current rather than the voltage, the current stays the same when the coil resistance changes with heat. The output is galvanically isolated from the input and the supply. Start and end of input and output are set through the Wi-Fi hotspot.

Setup
- Connect the supply, the 0-10 V source and the load according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
- Hold button SW1 for about ten seconds and connect a phone, tablet or laptop to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
- Set the current at 0 V and at 10 V and store the settings.
Application
- Driving a proportional valve with a current input from a PLC with 0-10 V
- Supplying a current-driven actuator or test setup with an adjustable current
- Replacing an old current driver without changing the control system
PR505 series: converters with Wi-Fi
The PR505 modules have a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. Hold button SW1 for about ten seconds and connect a phone, tablet or laptop to change settings or load new firmware. The modules run on 12 and 24 V DC.
