The PR515x606 compares a 0-10 V or 4-20 mA signal with a set limit and switches a relay contact only when the signal stays above or below that limit for a set time. A separate delay is set for switching back. Short peaks, sloshing in a tank or pressure surges therefore do not cause switching. Limit, hysteresis and both delays are set on the OLED display.

Setup

Connect the supply, the signal source and the relay contact according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
On the display, select whether the input is 0-10 V or 4-20 mA, and set the limit and the hysteresis.
Set the on delay and the off delay and store with SAVE.

Raising a level alarm without false alarms from sloshing in a tank

PR515 series: controllers and converters with OLED display

The modules in the PR515 series have an OLED display and push buttons, so they can be set up without a computer and show the current values of inputs and outputs. They run on 12 and 24 V DC systems. Most versions can be extended on request, for example with an extra relay output, a PWM output, a bus connection (CAN bus or Modbus) or a different sensor input.
