We do the hardware, you do the software
Thousands of boards for a water recycling start-up
Their software team was strong, but they had no hardware. We made boards that keep working when the power fails, and that see wear coming before anything breaks.

Situation
Our customer, a start-up specialising in water recycling, had a strong product idea and its own software team, but no hardware knowledge. The product had to go out into the world in large numbers, including places where the mains supply regularly fails.
Solution
We selected the pressure and water sensors and designed the circuit board: control of valves and an air pump, measurement of supply voltage and current per component so that wear shows up early, Wi-Fi and Ethernet on board, and a backup supply for power cuts. The modules communicate over a LIN bus: low-cost, and quick to replace in the field if something fails. The customer wrote his own software; we supplied the test software and a manual for their developers.
Result
Thousands of boards supplied in series at short notice, including purchasing of materials, assembly, inspection and with the customer’s software already loaded. The boards arrived ready to use at their warehouse and went straight into the machine at the assembly plant. Their purchasing department compared us with several suppliers and chose us for efficient design and production.
