Situation
Our customer, a specialist in shipbuilding, fits dozens of systems on board every ship: toilets, controls, lighting, indicators and alarms. He wanted to run them under his own name and was looking for one partner who could develop, make and keep supplying everything.
Solution
We developed a whole range for use on board. Modules that talk to each other and to the ship’s systems over CAN bus, NMEA 2000 and RS485. Signal converters for 4-20 mA, PWM dimmers for the lighting, controls for the toilet systems and monitoring of alarms and indicators. We do the design, prototype, software, purchasing, assembly and testing; the yard fits it.
Result
Every month we supply what the yard needs for the ships under construction. One point of contact for all the on-board electronics. What counts most for the yard is that it arrives on time, and it does.
