Situation
Our customer, a specialist in disinfection, works with 230 V machines that may not be modified because of their certification. Nobody may stand next to them when they switch on. Even so, he wanted to know whether and how they work.
Solution
An adapter with our own electronics between the machine and the wall socket. It measures the power consumption, derives from it what the machine is doing and sends this via 4G/5G, Wi-Fi or Ethernet to an online dashboard.
Result
The customer now sees for each machine whether and when it ran and whether it worked as intended, without anyone having to stand next to it. Dozens of machines are monitored this way, for a fixed amount per device per month. For us it is a service that needs hardly any attention.
