The PR515x510 measures the voltage across a shunt in a DC circuit and passes the current on as 4-20 mA and as 0-10 V. The measuring input is galvanically isolated from the supply and the outputs, so the shunt may sit in the positive line or in a circuit with a different ground. The shunt range and the current at the start and end of the output are set on the OLED display, which also shows the current value.

Setup
- Connect the supply, the shunt and the outputs according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
- On the display, set the rated current and voltage of the shunt.
- Choose the current at 4 mA and at 20 mA (and with it at 0 and 10 V) and store with SAVE.
Application
- Passing charge and discharge current of a battery bank on to a PLC or monitoring system
- Measuring the current draw of a DC motor or load
- Connecting an existing shunt to a control system with a 4-20 mA or 0-10 V input
PR515 series: controllers and converters with OLED display
The modules in the PR515 series have an OLED display and push buttons, so they can be set up without a computer and show the current values of inputs and outputs. They run on 12 and 24 V DC systems. Most versions can be extended on request, for example with an extra relay output, a PWM output, a bus connection (CAN bus or Modbus) or a different sensor input.
