Current transformer (CT) to Modbus RTU, three inputs, with OLED display

The PR515x513 measures the current per phase or per group through up to three current transformers (1 A or 5 A, true RMS) and provides the values as Modbus RTU registers on an RS485 bus. The current transformers measure contactlessly, so the existing wiring does not need to be modified. The current transformer type, the Modbus address and the baud rate are set on the OLED display, which also shows the current per input.

Setup
- Connect the supply, the current transformers and the RS485 bus (A and B) according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
- On the display, select the current transformer type (1 A or 5 A) and set the Modbus address and the baud rate.
- Store with SAVE and read the currents with your PLC or energy monitor; the register list is supplied with the module.
Application
- Reading the current per phase of a distribution board in a PLC or energy monitor
- Logging the consumption of large loads on board or in a building
- Measuring current without modifying the existing wiring, contactlessly via current transformers
PR515 series: controllers and converters with OLED display
The modules in the PR515 series have an OLED display and push buttons, so they can be set up without a computer and show the current values of inputs and outputs. They run on 12 and 24 V DC systems. Most versions can be extended on request, for example with an extra relay output, a PWM output, a bus connection (CAN bus or Modbus) or a different sensor input.
