4-20 mA to two relays with adjustable limits, with OLED display
Article number W181A-P502
The W181A-P502 reads a 4-20 mA signal and switches two relays, each with its own limit and hysteresis. For each relay you choose whether it switches above or below its limit; one module thus provides a low and a high alarm, or a pump that switches on and off at two levels. The limits are set on the OLED display as a percentage or in the unit of the sensor. A broken wire (less than 4 mA) can be detected and can switch a relay.

Setup
- Connect the supply, the 4-20 mA source and the relay contacts according to the wiring diagram supplied with the module.
- On the display, set the limit, hysteresis and direction for each relay.
- Choose whether a relay switches on a broken wire and store the settings.
Application
- Switching a pump on and off at two levels of a 4-20 mA level sensor
- Creating a low and a high alarm on a pressure or level measurement
- Signalling a broken wire of a transmitter
W181 series: compact modules with OLED display and Wi-Fi
The modules in the W181 series are compact and fit on a DIN rail. They have an OLED display and push buttons, so they can be set up without a computer and show the current values. A DIP switch on the board fixes basic choices. Software updates are loaded through the USB-C port and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. The modules run on 24 V DC. Extensions are possible on request, such as an extra relay output, a different sensor input or a bus connection.
